February 21, 2024: At today’s meeting of the 28th Session of the Codex Committee on Fats and Oils (CCFO28), the Committee agreed to submit for approval by the Codex Alimentarius Commission (CAC) GOED’s Proposal for New Work on a Standard for Microbial Omega-3 Oils. On Friday, the draft meeting report will be reviewed and finalized. After that, GOED will report back to members with additional insight from the discussion on this topic, as well as the next steps.
