New CSD Feature Unlocked: Search Beyond Human Studies
While GOED’s Clinical Study Database (CSD) was designed primarily to focus on human studies, we also scan and process other study types. Given the diverse roles of many of our members, we have enabled a new CSD feature to search all study types within the Abstract Search, such as animal or cell-based studies. This feature is best suited for someone interested in exploring the background and mechanisms related to EPA and DHA omega-3s and various health topics. Watch this 3 minute video to learn more and contact Kaitlin Roke to have this feature added to your profile.

EU Decision on MOAH Legislation Postponed Again
The vote on the proposed regulation of mineral oil aromatic hydrocarbons (MOAH) in the European Union (EU), which had been rescheduled for the December meeting of the European Commission (EC) Standing Committee on Plants, Animals, Food and Feed (SCoPAFF) committee, has been postponed again, this time without a new date. GOED has learned that internal discussions within the EC regarding the regulatory package on mineral oil hydrocarbons are ongoing. A date for the submission of the drafts for a vote has not yet been set; further meetings of the relevant expert group are also not currently planned. GOED does not have insight into what the specific challenges to reaching an agreement are, and will keep members informed as we learn more.
GOED last reported on the EC MOH legislation in the Current of November 24, 2025.
